At Cellardoor Cinema, our internship program is designed for emerging filmmakers and editors who want real-world experience inside an active production environment.
This is not a classroom simulation or observational shadowing program. Interns contribute directly to ongoing film projects in development, production, and post-production phases.
You will be expected to engage with professional workflows, collaborate with creative teams, and develop practical skills that translate directly into the industry.

POST-PRODUCTION
- Assist the production team in planning and preparing for shoots
- Help set up and break down equipment such as cameras, lighting, and audio gear
- Support crew members on set with day-to-day production tasks
- Observe and learn how to operate basic production equipment under supervision
- Help organize shot lists, schedules, and on-set logistics
- Run errands or handle production materials as needed during shoots
- Follow direction from producers, directors, and senior crew members
- Gain hands-on experience in real production environments and workflows
- Assist in organizing and logging raw footage, audio files, and project assets
- Support editors in assembling rough cuts and basic video sequences
- Learn and apply basic editing techniques under supervision
Help with simple tasks like syncing audio, trimming clips, and labeling files
- Assist with adding basic graphics, captions, or transitions when needed
- Observe workflows for color correction, sound mixing, and final edits
- Participate in review sessions and take feedback from senior editors
- Gain exposure to industry-standard editing software and post-production pipelines
